My research concerns both 'factual' and 'evaluative' aspects of reasoning and decision making under uncertainty.
I have a longstanding interest in the science and politics of climate change and the environment; many of my papers are informed by problems that arise in these areas of decision making.
I am also interested in the interplay of ethics and risk in other public decision-making contexts (e.g., legal and health contexts)
